Chapter 4 from "They Snooze You Lose"

In  chapter 4 of "They Snooze You Lose" it states that when you do a presentation you need to grab the audiences attention. After you have the audiences attention then you need to be able to make the presentation stick.

Chapter 1 "They Snooze You Lose"

Chapter 1 of They Snooze You Lose was about tweaking presentations.  This chapter tells us not to use distracting templates. That the templates are merely for you to place your information on and not to take over the the presentation. It also told us about what colors attract people and what combination to use.  It  states that we need to consider the people in the back.   The print should not be too small and is there too much information.   I learned that using all caps is harder to read than using only first letter capitalized in words and the typeface should also match your content.

Power Point Relection

My Power Point experience was new to me because it was the first time I have ever made a power point on anything.  It really wasn't hard at all.  I like the fact that now I know how to use power point to make presentations.  I am in a way enjoying these courses, but feel a little over whelmed with trying to figure out how to do most of the lesson.  I have gained some knowledge that I think I will be able to use in the future.  Hopefully with some practice, I will get better.
